CECILIA Atim Ogwal, while the Lira Municipality Member of Parliament says she declined an offer
to become the first woman vice-president in August 1994. Could she have wanted something
bigger than that?
Now, what could stop her if she aims higher and goes for the country's biggest office? After all she was
shown the green light decades ago. She could become the second woman president in Africa after
Liberia's Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
